To arrange for replacement of your FS Flame Switch
and FM Automatic Safety Valve through Robertshaw Controls Company,
please call our recall hotline at 1.800.232.9389 from 8:30am to 5pm CST, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Please
have the date code of the switch or valve and model and serial numbers of your
cooking appliance ready when you contact Robertshaw.
If your cooking appliance model and serial numbers are included in
the list of potentially affected numbers, immediately turn off the
gas supply to your cooking appliance at the manual control and contact
Robertshaw at 1.800.232.9389. If you are not sure whether you have
a FS Flame Switch or FM Automatic Safety Valve that is being recalled,
please go to What Products are Involved.
As
with any gas appliance, if you smell gas near the appliance or in the building,
immediately leave the area and call your gas company or a certified gas technician
to investigate the cause.
